EBMUD is soliciting proposals from qualified professional engineering consultants to design the installation of new standby emergency generators at EBMUD's Main Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP).
EBMUD plans to install two medium voltage generators at its MWWTP to provide sufficient on-site standby power, independent from existing on-site generation. Consultant scope of work includes an assessment of the optimal generator tie-in location, installation design of emergency generator system, air quality permitting, engineering services during construction, and support during startup and commissioning.
Please respond to this RFP no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026. Completed proposals must be submitted via electronic mail (email) to Adam Mansour (adam.mansour@ebmud.com)*.
