Water education classroom presentation

Teacher demonstrates filtration model to student Bring EBMUD's water story into your classroom. This free, one-hour, NGSS-aligned classroom presentation introduces 4th and 5th grade students to their drinking water supply and the water treatment process.

Guided by an EBMUD educator, students work in small groups to design and test their own water filtration models through hands-on exploration.

Learn where their drinking water comes from
Explore how drinking water is treated
Work collaboratively in small groups
Design and test water filtration models
