Volunteer work day
2026 Great Sierra River Cleanup8:00 am
A fun and productive day of cleaning up the banks of the Mokelumne River and Camanche Reservoir. Volunteers can choose from multiple locations that include Camanche Reservoir, Middle Bar, and the Mokelumne River Day Use Area.

Bring: Work clothes (long pants), sturdy boots/shoes, work gloves, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, sunscreen, and insect/tick repellent.
Minors: Participants under 18 are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian; an adult must accompany those under 16. Flotation devices are recommended for children working close to the water’s edge.
Weather Conditions: Rain or shine but be prepared for warm weather. Go to National Weather Service for weather information.
