Pardee and Camanche Hydropower Water Right Petitions
East Bay Municipal Utility District (District) is working with the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) through the licensing process for its Pardee and Camanche Hydropower Water Right Permits (10479 and 17378). As part of the licensing process, the District has filed petitions to make clarifying changes to its hydropower water right terms so that the licenses eventually issued by the SWRCB for the Mokelumne River hydropower facilities accurately reflect the District’s existing hydroelectric power generation operations and its maximum historical hydropower diversion and use.
SWRCB has given formal public notice of the District’s water rights petitions on July 24, 2026. Copies of the associated petitions are linked below. For more information regarding this matter, please contact the SWRCB by email at: Reza.Ghasemizadeh@waterboards.ca.gov.
