Welcome to EBMUD. You can start service online or over the phone.
When you start service online, you’ll receive a reduced account establishment fee of $51 which will appear on your first bill.
When you establish service over the phone, the account establishment fee is $67, which will appear on your first bill.
To start service, you’ll need:
- An EBMUD ID to login online
- Service address
- New service start date
- Identification: Social Security Number (last four digits), Driver’s License or State Identification
Important: Starting service online is only available for single family residences in good standing with their water bills. All other customers such as multi-family units and businesses can call Customer Service at 1-866-403-2683, Monday-Friday (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
