Kee, Pope & Tummings

ON THE FIFTH DAYExhibit runs June 25 - August 7, 2015

Niambi Kee, Carolyn Pope, and LaQuita Tummings provide a broad spectrum of textile art; including traditional, abstract, and mixed media. Each artists brings her unique interpretation to these forms. Many of the works are inspired by travel and the intersection of human, animal, and spirit worlds; while others explore self-identity and one's own perception of beauty.

"There's nothing like being in the photography pit. There's an excitement that's indescribable, I can actually feel the energy of the audience on the back of my neck, it gives me chills every time."

Cie Martin learned almost every kind of photography that exists but shooting concerts will always come first in her heart.
