Fall Garden Maintenance - Peer to Peer
Are you ready for a fun outdoor gathering to exchange ideas on pruning, sheet mulching, planting, and other fall garden maintenance tips?
Join us for an interactive fall garden maintenance workshop at the 6-acre Gardens at Heather Farm. Landscape professionals will lead pruning, sheet mulching, soil amendment, irrigation check, and planting best practices demonstration/discussion.
Bring your bag of tricks - the workshop will provide opportunities for attendees to swap ideas. EBMUD water supply and program updates will also be discussed. Workshop facilitators include Garden Manager Jere Peck, and EBMUD Water Conservation Division staff Lindsay Kinsler, Nicolle Patterson, and Kristin Bowman. Light refreshments provided.
Registration is required. Space is limited.
Onsite parking is available - carpooling is recommended.
Bring water, sun hat, and a notepad.
Event will take place with light rain. Heavy rain cancels.
