Lawn Conversion Convert a thirsty lawn to a low-water use landscape. You must have a lawn in place at the time of the required EBMUD pre-inspection.
Irrigation Equipment Revamp your irrigation system with technology proven to reduce waste and irrigate efficiently.
Graywater Rebate (Up to $50)
Put your laundry water to good use on your landscape, and get a rebate of up to $50 for a graywater system 3-water diverter valve.
Commercial Clothes Washer Rebate (Up to $125)
Replacing conventional clothes washers with high-efficiency washers can cut water and energy use in half, saving money with every load. They also use less detergent and reduce drying time to save energy.

Pre-Rinse Spray Nozzles (FREE)
For a limited time, EBMUD will replace high-water use pre-rinse spray nozzles used for rinsing dishes with efficient models that can save you water and money.
Water-Saving Devices (FREE)
High-efficiency showerheads, faucet aerators, and other water-saving devices are available free of charge to eligible EBMUD customers, limits apply.

All rebates that, individually or in combination, total $600 or more in a tax year require submittal of a W-9 form to the District prior to payment. All personal information provided within the W-9 is kept confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act.
If your total rebate amount is $600 or more, you will receive a 1099 form to comply with Internal Revenue Service requirements. The determination of whether your rebate is taxable or not may depend on several variables. You are recommended to contact your tax professional.
During any 24-month period, the combined rebate amount provided by EBMUD may not exceed $2,000 for residential and multi-family properties (4 units or less), and $15,000 for commercial and large residential properties. You may apply for an additional rebate amount after the 24-month period has elapsed.
