Feb. 17, John Bull Peak Volunteer Work Day
Under the direction of Ranger/Naturalist II Lora Sparrowk, we will be developing an area on the beautiful John Bull Peak overlooking Pardee Reservoir. Activities will include installing a hitching post for horses, improving a short foot path, and creating a picnic area. All instruction and tools will be provided.

Bring: Lunch, drinking water, sturdy boots/shoes, work clothes (long pants), work gloves, insect/tick repellent, sunglasses and sunscreen. No pets or alcohol.
Difficulty level: No experience necessary. Project will require moderate lifting, bending, light hiking and the use of basic hand tools.
Minors: Participants under 18 are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian; and adult must accompany those under 16.
Weather Conditions: Rain or shine, but be prepared for cool weather. Click here for weather information.
Special considerations: Late arrivals/early departures are not available because we will be carpooling 20 minutes to the work site.
