The historic Wildermuth House was home to California pioneers

Under the direction of Ranger/Naturalist II Lora Sparrowk, we will conduct the annual pruning and landscape maintenance within the grounds of the Wildermuth gardens, located near Pardee Reservoir in Valley Springs, Calif. As a special treat, the historic Wildermuth House, one of the best preserved gold rush era homes in the area, will be open for viewing. All instruction and tools will be provided. No experience necessary.

Bring: Lunch, sturdy boots/shoes, work clothes (long pants), drinking water, work gloves, insect/tick repellent, sun glasses and sunscreen. No pets or alcohol.

Minors: Participants under 18 are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian; an adult must accompany those under 16.

Level of Difficulty: No experience necessary. Project will require light lifting, bending, and the use of small hand tools.
