ReScape California Spring Talk: Water in the World of Climate Change
As California fluctuates between extended periods of drought and seasonal floods, it is important to consider how we design and manage landscapes to respond to these changing conditions. This discussion will address watershed health and water issues in the world of climate change—drought vs. flooding.
Claire Nordlie, Supervisor of Water Conservation at EBMUD, will join a panel of speakers including Brock Dolman from Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, Co-Director of Water Institute; Pamela Conrad, landscape architect and Senior Associate at CMG; Bruce Riordan, Program Director at the Climate Readiness Institute; and Amelia Luna with Sherwood Design Engineers.
