EBMUD Water Efficient Landscape Review: Overview and Tips for Compliance
Designing a new landscape? Are you aware of EBMUD's water efficiency landscape requirements?
On Monday, January 28, 2019, EBMUD Water Conservation Representative Paul Modrell will provide an overview of EBMUD's water efficient landscape regulations (referred to as Section 31), introduce the new on-line application and provide tips for a smooth approval process for your new landscape design. Paul also will illustrate the challenges to our future water supply and the importance of outdoor water conservation to preserve this precious resource.
Paul Modrell joined EBMUD two-and-half-years ago. A results-driven environmental scientist and landscape architect, Paul has twenty years of experience in watershed management, environmental planning, habitat restoration, landscape design and managing regulatory programs such as CEQA and
The meeting will be held at the EBMUD Administration Building at 375 11th
Street in Oakland on the second floor. The Administration Building is
conveniently located near the Broadway and 12th Street BART station.
Please arrive promptly.
Public transportation is encouraged. If public transportation is not an option,
validated parking is available at the Pacific Renaissance Plaza garage right
next door on Webster Street. Bring your token to the meeting and EBMUD will
validate at the end of the meeting. Please note, there is no parking available
in the EBMUD parking garage.
