East Bay Watershed Wildlife

Many forms of wildlife live on EBMUD's East Bay Watershed.  Surveys throughout the year are performed to monitor the various populations, and ensure that appropriate habitat enhancement is maintained for their survival. 

Bird Surveys
View information about Aleutian Canada Geese, Bald Eagles and other bird monitoring programs.

Amphibian and Reptile Surveys
Learn how biologists use the information obtained from these surveys to direct the stewardship and management of the East Bay watershed. 

Habitat Enhancement
Details on habitat enhancement programs managed by volunteer groups such as the Boy Scouts and school groups.
