Fire Management Plan

A key component of the 1996 East Bay Watershed Master Plan was the development and implementation of a fire management program that would address fire management issues on East Bay watershed lands and minimize environmental impacts. The Fire Management Plan (FMP) is a result of that effort.  The purpose of the FMP is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and strategic management approach that addresses the full range of vegetation types and environmental conditions, defines and develops a strategic fuelbreak network, and identifies a system of  Fire Management Units.

You can view or print the Fire Management Plan as a complete report or by chapters and/or appendices, using Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free software.
