EBMUDs commitment to environmental protection begins
with our mission statement
and continues through
our many programs and services. Efficient use of water, a limited and precious natural resource in California, is an
important step every Californian can take to protect the environment.
East Bay
EBMUD's 1996 East Bay Watershed
Master Plan (EBWMP), the Range Resource Management Plan and Fire
Management Plan - major programs
within the EBWMP - and information on fisheries, wildlife, plants, and public
education programs can be found here.
Mokelumne
EBMUD is involved in programs and restoration for
the lower Mokelumne River from Camanche Dam to the Delta, Pardee and
Camanche Reservoir and related EBMUD watershed lands. Fisheries and
wildlife programs and a historical perspective on the Mokelumne Watershed can
