After the recent equestrian accident on the Lancha Plana Poverty Bar pedestrian-only loop trail, located between the Campo Seco and Camanche South Shore staging areas, that segment of trail has been closed until the additional access controls are constructed. The section of the Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail between those staging areas is unaffected and remains open to through traffic.
