Pardee Recreation Area

  Pardee Recreation Area Entrance
  Welcome to Pardee Recreation Area.

New! Quagga/Zebra Mussel Prevention Program (mandatory inspections and boating restrictions in place)

The heart of EBMUD's drinking water supply, Pardee Reservoir is great for fishing, boating and camping. Kokanee salmon, large- and smallmouth bass and catfish share the waters with trophy-size trout. Little-visited coves invite you to drop your line, or just sit back and savor the views.

Pardee is open from the first Friday in February through the last Sunday in October. It is closed during the migratory bird season as part of EBMUD's wildlife enhancement program. Concession-operated facilities include a full service marina, launch ramp, coffee shop and store, swimming pools, campgrounds, full hook-up RV sites, hiking trails, fishing dock, horseshoe and bocce ball courts, flush restrooms and showers.

Discounts for seniors and disabled persons are available also.

Pardee has first-come, first-served campgrounds, with 100 sites as well as reservable campsites. Shower facilities and two swimming pools are available. Day-use areas have picnic tables, barbecues, a restaurant and store. Reservable RV sites include full hookups.

Pardee lies 12 miles southwest of Jackson and can be reached via Highway 88 or Highway 12.. The daily entry fee is $7.50 and the daily fishing access permit is $3.50.
