Camanche Recreation Area

For more detailed information about our recreation areas and trail system in the Mokelumne Area of the Sierra Foothills, please view the links below:

Camanche Recreation Area
A 12-square-mile surface makes Camanche Reservoir bigger than all other EBMUD reservoirs combined. Recreation areas on the north and south shores are open all year.

Pardee Recreation Area
Pardee Reservoir is great for fishing, boating and camping. Little-visited coves invite you to drop your line, or just sit back and savor the views.

Sierra Trails
These hiking and horseback-riding paths go through 31,000 acres of open space. For current trail conditions click here.

Turkey Hill Equestrian/Group Campground
EBMUD staff looks forward to better serving both equestrians and organized youth groups with the opening of this campground at Camanche South Shore.

Mokelumne River Day Use Area - Open!
Located 15 miles east of Lodi off Highway 12 and at the base of Camanche Dam, the Mokelumne River Day Use Area is a popular access point to the Mokelumne River and for visitors to the Mokelumne River Fish Hatchery
