Reservation Information

These sites can be reserved in person or by fax to (925) 283-1545 at the Lafayette Visitor Center. Payment in full by cash, check or credit card is due at time of reservation. To reserve by fax (credit card payment required), please call (925)284-9669 to check for available dates. Next, click here for our faxable reservation form. Fax reservations are unavailable at this time. Fill out and fax the form to (925)283-1545, remember, the reservation is not locked in until the form is received and the credit card transaction is electronically completed.  By the close of business, but no sooner than ½ hr. after fax has been received, call to verify the transaction. Finally, a copy of the paperwork and receipt will be mailed out to the address on the form.

Note the following rules for picnic sites:

·         All EBMUD regulations are in effect at all times.

·         Extreme fire conditions, (red flag warning) may prohibit BBQ's. Check with staff on the day of your reservation to ensure BBQ's are allowed.

·         Reservation fees do not include parking fees. Parking is $6.00/day or $.25/15 minutes at a parking meter. (2 hour max)

·         Refunds for sites will only be given with 30 days notice of cancellation or in the event of rain on the day the site has been reserved.

·         Two (escorted) vehicles are allowed to make one trip directly to the picnic site to drop off and bring back supplies or people. (no multiple trips or vehicles).  Check in at the Visitor Center or Kiosk for instructions.

·         Driving on the lawns is always prohibited.         

·         The picnic sites must be left clean and all garbage must be in proper containers.

·         "Jumpees", inflatable apparatus, portable pools and amplified music are not allowed, please call (925) 284-9669 for specific rules.
