Education & Outreach
A
variety of materials, programs and field trips are available for
teachers, students and customers to learn about wise water use, protecting
watershed environments and what to do in emergency situations.
Curricula and Classroom
Materials
K-12 materials are aligned with state standards and are available free to
schools in the EBMUD service area and "upcountry" (Amador and Calaveras
counties, Lodi and Linden).
Outdoor Education
Ranger-Naturalists host local classrooms for creek restoration, reforestation and natural
history programs.
Live Theater Assemblies
Free entertaining and educational shows for elementary schools
School Garden Program
An interagency approach to education teachers, students and the community
about the role water plays in the garden.
Emergency Preparedness
Articles
and brochures detailing what you can do to protect you and your family in an
emergency.
