Ruth Bancroft Garden Lecture Series
This exciting set of author events, seminars, and workshops highlights topics including growing vegetables, herbs, and cutting flowers; choosing colors for your garden that work together; and creating stunning succulent gardens and great plant combinations using water-wise plants. Laundry to Landscape Graywater - Installing a Simple and Affordable System
This is a step-by-step, hands-on workshop. "Laundry to landscape" systems are simple, affordable, and easy to maintain. Irrigate your landscape each time you do laundry and save water, time, and resources. You'll learn:
- How to tailor a system for your home and landscape
- How to build a system - you'll create a "mock-up" of a real system using real graywater parts
- What parts you'll need for your home
- How much graywater you produce and how many plants you can water
- What soaps and detergents are "graywater friendly"
