Oct. 21, Volunteers Needed for Trail Maintenance

Trail Brushing.jpgUnder the direction of Ranger/Naturalist II Lora Sparrowk, we will be performing annual trail maintenance along a section of the Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail between Camanche and Pardee Reservoirs, which are located near Valley Springs, Calif. Activities will include brushing and tread repair.

Bring: Lunch, drinking water, sturdy boots/shoes, work clothes (long pants), work gloves, insect/tick repellent, sun glasses and sunscreen. No pets or alcohol.

Level of Difficulty: No experience necessary. Project will require light lifting, bending and the use of small hand tools.

Minors: Participants under 18 are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian; an adult must accompany those under 16.
