Feb. 18, 2017: Heritage Garden Volunteer Work Day
Under the direction of Ranger/Naturalist II Lora Sparrowk, we will conduct the annual pruning and landscape maintenance within the grounds of the Wildermuth gardens, located near Pardee Reservoir in Valley Springs, Calif. As a special treat, the historic Wildermuth House, one of the best preserved gold rush era homes in the area, will be open for viewing.
Bring: Lunch, drinking water, sturdy boots/shoes, work clothes (long pants), work gloves, insect/tick repellent, sun glasses and sunscreen. No pets or alcohol.

Level of Difficulty: No experience necessary. Project will require light lifting, bending and the use of small hand tools.
Minors: Participants under 18 are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian; an adult must accompany those under 16.
