Pardee Recreation Area
The heart of EBMUD's drinking water supply, Pardee Reservoir, is great for fishing, boating and camping. Kokanee salmon, large and smallmouth bass and catfish share the waters with trophy-size trout. Little-visited coves invite you to drop your line, or just sit back and savor the views. Oak-studded campgrounds offer camping areas for tents and RVs.
Concession-operated facilities include a full service marina, launch ramp, coffee shop and store, swimming pools, campgrounds, full hook-up RV sites, hiking trails, fishing dock, horseshoe and bocce ball courts, flush restrooms and showers. Pardee has first-come, first-served campgrounds, with 100 sites as well as reservable campsites. Shower facilities and two swimming pools are available. Day-use areas have picnic tables, barbecues, a restaurant and store. Reservable RV sites include full hook-ups.
Pardee is open from the first Friday in February through the last Sunday in October. It is closed during the migratory bird season as part of EBMUD's wildlife enhancement program. Pardee Reservoir is an EBMUD drinking water reservoir; swimming, wading, and other body contact activities are prohibited.
