High-Efficiency Residential Clothes Washer Rebates
Switch to a high-efficiency clothes washer to save water and energy
High-efficiency clothes washers use less water, energy, and detergent, plus clean clothes better than conventional models. Qualifying models deliver high customer satisfaction and lower utility bills.
Eligible customers can get a combined water and energy rebate of $50 from EBMUD and $50 from PG&E when they buy and install a qualifying clothes washer. The offer, subject to availability of funds, is good for purchases made through December 31, 2012.
How to Participate
To qualify for a combined water and energy rebate, purchase a clothes washer model listed on the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 3 list and install it within EBMUD and PG&E service areas.

Note: Washers that use silver ion technology do not qualify. Application must be submitted within 60 days of purchase.

For program rules, to apply online, obtain an application form, or see current rebate amounts visit waterenergysavings.com. You can also call the program's administrator, PG&E, at (800) 933-9555. EBMUD reserves the right to deny ineligible or incomplete applications.
