EBMUD customers can get a combined rebate (while funds are available) from EBMUD
and PG&E for $125 or $200 for installing a
high-efficiency clothes washer
from the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE's) tier 2 or tier 3 qualifying
product list (not including washers that use silver ion technology), purchased
between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. Application must be submitted
within 90 days of purchase date.

EBMUD offers rebates for the installation of new high-efficiency
commercial clothes washers in multi-family properties and coin
laundry stores serviced by EBMUD.

Any hardware change that
will result in predictable water savings may be eligible for an EBMUD
commercial rebate.
Irrigation
Programs
EBMUD offers several irrigation related services for large-landscape
customers in its service area.
Water Broom Rebates
EBMUD offers rebates on Water Brooms, a hose-end attachment that uses a
combination of air and water to clean surfaces. Non-residential customers
that previously used a garden hose, hose and nozzle, power washer, or any
other water using device for outdoor cleaning, are eligible to apply.
Rebates for All Customers
High-Efficiency Toilet
Rebate Program
EBMUD offers customers $150 or up to the total
toilet cost
(not including sales tax), whichever is less for the purchase of
qualifying
High-Efficiency Toilets (HETs) between January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008.
Limits on the number of toilets applies. Toilets must be installed and
rebate applications must be postmarked within 90 days of purchase date.

Program
EBMUD customers can find out about self-adjusting
irrigation controller incentives. Whether you are a property owner or a landscape professional,
these controllers can reduce your water bill and enhance the value of your
property.
WaterSmart Garden Grant Program
EBMUD now offers monetary awards to community groups and organizations for
public garden projects that clearly and effectively demonstrate water-conserving
principles.
