Recycled
Water Truck Program
To save
limited potable water supplies during the drought, EBMUD is providing free
recycled water to trucks for construction and other non-potable purposes. The
Recycled Water Truck Program supplies clean, safe, disinfected recycled water for
allowed uses such as dust control, soil compaction, power washing, decorative
fountains, landscape irrigation and ponds, street washing, and sewer flushing.
Please contact EBMUD regarding other allowable uses of recycled water. This
water may be used only within EBMUD’s service area.
One Recycled
Water Truck Program facility is located at EBMUD’s main wastewater treatment
plant in West Oakland. View the Recycled Water
Truck Programs in the East Bay section below for a list of current EBMUD
and other agency locations. In this trial program customers will receive recycled
water at no charge in 2008. In the future, EBMUD may charge for recycled water
from the truck program.
