Notice of Public Sale (Castro Valley)
EBMUD is selling approximately 24 acres of vacant land in
the Castro Valley area in Alameda County. This property was purchased
over the course of several years in the late 1950's, and while the
intent was to construct a water filtration plant ("Redwood Filter
Plant"), the facility was never constructed.
The General Plan and zoning designations for this property may change in
the near future and potential bidders are encouraged to review the
Castro
Valley General Plan or contact the
Alameda County Planning Department for additional information. Please
refer to the attached Notice of Public Sale document for specific
contact information for County personnel familiar with this matter.
The sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on July 12, 2007.
Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. The bids will be opened at
1:30 p.m. at 375 11th Street, Oakland, CA on the 2nd floor in the Large
Training Room.
