Business Directories and Roster

The Contract Equity Business Directories are listings of all the firms that have self-certified the ethnicity and gender of their ownership and are in the EBMUD database. The Business Directories are useful for locating firms that are interested in doing business with us and as a resource for firms in their outreach activities.

Businesses are listed alphabetically and the ethnicity of the firm's controlling interest is indicated, if available, for reporting purposes only. The Business Directories are offered as a service. EBMUD has no independent knowledge regarding the composition of the ownership, the certifiability of any firm, or the quality of the work performed by any listed entity.

There are four Business Directories - Professional & General Services, Construction, Materials & Supplies and Small Business Enterprises. In addition, there are three sub-directories for Small Businesses, one for each main business category.

EBMUD uses the Engineering Consultant Roster to select firms to submit proposals for contracts typically under $750,000, when special expertise is required or when District staff is unavailable.
