lemons.docxInstalling a simple graywater system is a low-cost way to help make your home resilient to our changing climate.  Although the rain was a welcome respite this past winter, California is prone to drought. The water from your sink, shower, and washing machine can be diverted to irrigate your yard. Come learn about popular graywater systems and how to choose a system for your home and landscape.

The presentation will cover the following: overview of a residential water supply system, common types of graywater systems, plant friendly soaps and products, general costs and water-savings potential, plumbing code, design considerations, and graywater resources. This event is sponsored by EBMUD, Ecology Center, and Greywater Action.

Space is limited. Registration is required.
